Happy New Year

2008 has been an awesome year for me.

I have managed to travel to 4 countries and fulfill a dream of getting to the Hawaii islands - Kauai.
I started out seeing 2008 in Perth, Australia, where I lived for 9 months. I drove across from West Oz to East Oz with a good mate, camping, kiting, surfing and surviving on Staag chilli!
I made a great group of mates before making the move to California for the last part of 2008, which saw me turn 30 (!) and getting married to the beautiful and and fantastic Robin.
After a 4 month wait my work visa has finally come through allowing me to become an AmeriCAN at last.
Even with the world in financial turmoil and the continuous gloomy out look I fell very happy and healthy and blessed to have lots of great friends around the world.

I'm really looking forward to the challenges and adventures that 2009 hold.
